Bascom-Sponsored Appreciation Lunch for Orange County Sheriff’s Department
As a way to show appreciation for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department for National Police Week 2024, Bascom sponsored an appreciation lunch for OCSD officers and employees May 8 at their headquarters located at 550 North Flower Street in Santa Ana. Over 600 Nexx Burger Truck meals, including burgers and fries, were served as thanks for their service and dedication to protecting the community.
Lt. Col. Grossman’s ‘BULLETPROOF MIND’ Presented to Orange County Sheriff’s Department
On November 9, 2023 Orange County Sheriff’s Department officers attended the Lt. Col. Grossman ‘Bulletproof Mind’ event, underwritten by The Bascom Group and planned in cooperation with the Orange County Sherriff’s Advisory Council.
Honoring National Police Week
We encouraged each of our apartment communities’ onsite team members to reach out in thanks to their local law enforcement during National Police Week, May 9-15. Additionally, our team hand-delivered $450 in Peet’s Coffee gift cards and gift bags filled with an encouraging book and healthy snacks to our Irvine Police Department.
Donation Drive to Benefit Orangewood Foundation Youth
We coordinated a drive to gather personal hygiene items for foster youth and recently emancipated young adults during the month of March 2021.
Our corporate office and 5 Premier Workspaces coworking locations participated in this drive. We were able to donate 45 care packages, containing shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, sun screen, razors, and other personal items to Orangewood Foundation.
CU Boulder Real Estate Graduate Case Competition

Teddy Bear Drive for Children’s Health Hospital 2019
The Bascom Group held a teddy bear drive in support of the Teddy Bear Party, raising 1.4K teddy bear donations from across 13 states for children undergoing medical treatments at Children’s Health in Dallas, Texas.
Veterans Outreach OC Thanksgiving 2019
Bascom Group donated a Thanksgiving meal to Veterans Outreach Orange County, which served 40 veterans at the organization’s Santa Ana and Fullerton locations.
Nevada PIP Awards
The Bascom Group hosted the annual Property Incentive Program (PIP) awards meeting with AMC property management in Las Vegas, NV on November 14, 2019.

Bascom employees went on a team building outing to explore Catalina Island on July 18, 2019.
WHW Boys2Men Event
For the sixth year, Bascom Group sponsored WHW’s Boys2Men event, which supports young men who were recently emancipated from foster care. Bascom Group volunteers acted as personal stylists and mentors, helping each young man select two suits, a pair of shoes, four ties and a new belt. The day also included inspirational presentations, an interactive employment readiness workshop and mock interviews.

Bascom Group held a motivational town hall meeting with AMC property management teams in Las Vegas, NV on May 14th, 2019.
The Urban Land Institute Project at Samueli Academy
Students of Samueli Academy learned city planning and design, economic development, financial planning and analysis, marketing and absorption rates, and public policy. The project concluded with a presentation to the Irvine City Council on March 28, 2019.

On January 18, 2018, Bascom brought renowned speaker and author Lt. Col. Dave Grossman to University of Nevada, Las Vegas to address the growing frequency of mass casualty events in the U.S.
